Young Persons Project

Tŷ Curig, Portland Street & Tan y Castell

Our Young Persons Project is a supported housing project for 16 – 25 year olds. At our Young Persons Project we provide a safe, friendly environment with a combination of suitable accommodation, support and access to training, education and employment opportunities turning young people’s experiences of disadvantage into solutions that support their transition into independence.
To access our Young Persons Project, applicants must be willing to engage in our ethos by accessing training, employment or taking on voluntary work.
Helping young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness is really valuable both to the young person, not only in terms of achieving better outcomes, but also to the wider community in terms of their increased risk of involvement in crime, poor attendance at education, lack of skills or poor health.  We can help young people gain the skills and confidence they need to access training, get a job, maintain a tenancy and generally look after themselves.
