Find a home
At Wales & West Housing we have more than 12,500 properties in 14 local authority areas across North, South and West Wales.
The majority of our homes are for rent, allocated by local authority social housing waiting lists. These range from one-bedroom apartments and larger family homes to retirement and extra care apartments.
We are a major developer building hundreds of new high-quality, affordable homes each year for rent in areas people want to live. We also sell new homes through our Low Cost Home Ownership schemes.
Rent
The majority of our homes across Wales are available for social rent. We work with local authorities to match the right people to their perfect home.

Do you allow pets?
In almost all cases yes – we’re aware of the happiness and companionship pets can bring and all we ask is that you follow a few simple rules. Please let us know if you’re planning to get a pet by filling in this form. Once you become a pet owner, care for them responsibly and ensure they don’t cause a nuisance to neighbours. You are not allowed to keep any animal registered under the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976, and only if you have a certificate of exemption from a court can you keep a dog registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. Contact your housing officer if you have any questions or require advice.
Exchange your home
If you already live in a Wales & West Housing home but it is no longer suitable for you, you can ask for a swap. Speak to your Housing Officer about all the options available to you.
