In Caerphilly our residents at St Catherines Court have been making links with the children at their nearby primary school.  

The choir from Twyn Primary School are planning a second Christmas concert at the scheme later this year after residents enjoyed hearing their Christmas carols last year.  

To give something back to the community, WWH sponsored a mural which now takes pride of place in the school yard. 

Community Development Officer, Claire Ashby, said: “It was lovely to see the finished work. The children are so proud of their school and love learning outdoors where the mural is located. 

“The school is going to invite our residents to rehearsals for their school concert to carry on building links.”
